Meet Me On Monday

Happy Monday! This is my 3rd ‘Meet Me On Monday’ post. For those of you that do not know what ‘Meet Me On Monday’ is… it is a hop that was started by Never Growing Old, so bloggers can get to know the people behind the blog. This was a very good idea on her part. Each Sunday night ‘Never Grow Old’ post 5 questions, so everyone can have their post ready on Monday. This week there are 15 questions, because there is not going to be a Meet Me On Monday post for the next 2 weeks, due to the holidays. Okay… let’s get going!

Questions:

1.Wrapping paper or gift bag
Wrapping paper…gift bags just want do!

2.Real or artificial tree?
I love the smell of a real tree and the way they look, but we always use artificial.

3.When do you put your tree up?
My husband puts it up on Thanksgiving, or a few days later.

4.When do you take your tree down?
Usually around the 1st of the year.

5.Do you like eggnog?
When I was younger I love it, but I haven’t had any in a very long time.

6.Do you have a nativity scene?
No, no nativity scene.

7.Favorite Christmas Movie?
When I was younger I love the Rudolph & Frosty the Snowman, but I know they have replaced those with newer ones and I don’t like those.

8.Favorite Christmas cookie?
I love sugar cookies with icing!

9.Where will you eat Christmas dinner?
At home with my family.

10.Angel, bow or star on top of your tree?
Hubby puts a star.

11.Most annoying thing about this time of the year?
Is that Christmas is ‘supposed’ to be about Christ, but I don’t see him in Christmas. It is mostly commercial and stressful for a lot of people.

12.Do you like Fruitcake?
No, I do not like fruit cake. When I was younger my grandmother used to have it all the time on the holidays, and I tried to eat it a lot of times, but I did not like it.

13.What are you most excited about the holidays?
I enjoy the lights and family. I would love for it to snow, but it is not going to snow here in Houston and it is too warm for December!

14.Do you open presents Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning?
Christmas Eve

15.Will you still be wrapping presents on Christmas Eve?
No, I will not.

It is Monday again, already! It always seems like the weekend just flies by. Sunday was a lazy day, and it rained all day here. I love the rain, and we haven’t had much. The temperature has finally went down to around 50 degrees, which is lovely! It is starting to actually feel like Fall. Fall is my FAVORITE time of the year. I love to see all the trees changing colors and wind blowing.

This is the first time I have joined in on the ‘Meet Me On Monday‘, and I am looking forward to visiting everyone’s blogs and check out their answers. I got started a little late this morning, so here goes!

Here are my answers:

1. Mondays are __________?

A chance for me to start new! To get housework and my to-do-list stuff that I didn’t get done the week before. Monday’s are a time of reflection for me to make things better in the week ahead.

2. My Favorite kind of milkshake?

Chocolate, chocolate and MORE chocolate! Although I like strawberry also.

3. What monthly bill do you dislike most paying?

My electric bill! I never know what it is going to be, and this past summer it kicked our rear ends!

4. How many email addresses do you use on a regular basis?

I have 4 email accounts. My personal email, blog related email, one for work and one for spam (all those things you sign up for that sign you up for something else).

5. What color lights are on your Christmas tree?

My husband decorated our tree, and he uses multicolored lights. Personally I prefer clear lights, I think they look more sparkly and remind me of snow (which I don’t get to see much of )
